What we do

Four mandates, one desk.

Each engagement is run by the same desk from first conversation to signing, so the company and the investor deal with one team that knows the file.

01

Capital raising

Equity and SAFE rounds for technology and growth companies, from readiness to close.

  • Valuation range and round structure
  • Matched investor list, agreed before any approach
  • Term sheet review to closing
02

Secondaries

Liquidity for founders, early holders and funds in African private companies.

  • Buyer screening under NDA
  • Pricing against the last round
  • Pre-emption and transfer through the company
03

Debt arranging

Facilities for non-bank lenders, asset finance and working capital, from private credit funds and development lenders.

  • Lender pack and credit story
  • Local and hard-currency funders
  • Security and covenant negotiation
04

M&A and financial institutions

Bank and lender stakes, recapitalisations and control transactions, on the buy side and the sell side.

  • Regulatory shareholding limits mapped early
  • Buyer and investor qualification
  • Process run to the regulator's approval
Sectors

Where our files sit.

We work where African companies need patient, well-structured capital and where we know the investors who provide it.

Payments and fintech infrastructure

Payment rails, credit data, embedded finance.

Financial institutions

Banks, community banks, microfinance and non-bank lenders.

Mobility and asset finance

Fleet leasing and vehicle finance on contracted revenue.

Agriculture and food

Agritech platforms, processing and packaging.

Energy and climate

Distributed power, storage and the businesses that finance it.

Software and security

B2B software, AI and cyber defence for critical infrastructure.

How we work

A short, disciplined process.

The order matters. Investors see a company only after the company has agreed the list, and detail moves only under NDA.

Step 1

Readiness

We review the deck, model, cap table and data room, and set the raise size, instrument and valuation range.

Step 2

Investor list

We build a list of matched investors and agree it with the company before anyone is approached.

Step 3

Introductions

We introduce the company on a no-names basis, then share detail under NDA with investors who qualify.

Step 4

Terms to close

We review term sheets with the company and stay on the file through signing and completion.

Principles

How we protect both sides.

Private markets run on trust. These are the rules our desk works to on every file.

No names before an NDA

Companies, holders and buyers stay unnamed until confidentiality is signed. Approaches are made with a short, no-names summary.

Only serious counterparties

We bring a seller a buyer who has shown real intent, and an investor a company that fits their stated criteria. We do not circulate decks widely.

Fees tied to outcomes

Most of our fee is earned when a transaction completes. Terms are set out in a short engagement letter before work begins.

Mandates

The kinds of files on our desk.

Shown on a no-names basis. Current opportunities, with more detail for qualified investors, are on our live mandates page.
